Post_mortem first jam
This is a tiny post mortem
This game has been realized by two. The idea of mechanics I got in the shower because my phone has fallen to zero percent and I had to contact a friend after.
One thing that makes me laugh is the idea of the game by reference to the theme of the jam that was your fears are the mechanics, the fact of having taken as fear fell to zero percent ( which is a rather atypical idea and that the other games were about more popular fears makes me laugh). The biggest problem we encountered was at the end of the jam when publishing I do not know why but the items and enemies did not spawned after a short time lapse and the fact that the player could disappear off screen was not good. The improvements that we brought after the jam are the following first we have to adjust the spawn problem so that it works well.Secondly we code the fact that our player teleports left if he went too far right ,down if it went too high and vice versa. Third, following the classification of the jam we saw that we were last in terms of sound which is normal since there was none. So we implemented a background music and sound in contact with enemies and items . Then we have to suffer again during the republication because for me to make a game is hard but to make a correct build and put it online is worse. For future improvement we think varied enemies and items, improved visuals and implemented a score board system so you can challenge your friends on who can keep battery the longest.
